3rd Season • From Portland • Attended University of Oregon (Go Ducks!)
- When did you start dancing?
I started dancing in High School. I was a competitive gymnast growing up and I swear the only reason I made my high school dance team was because I could do a backflip!
- What got you started dancing?
Honestly, my friend convinced me to tryout for the high school dance team with her, so I can thank her for my dance career! 😉
- What is your favorite memory as a dancer?
My favorite memory is game 6 against the Rockets when Lillard hit the buzzer beater! It’s always our job as dancers to “rush the court” after a win and I can tell you that was the most exciting win I’ve ever experienced! Celebrating on the court with the dancers, hearing Lillard yell “RIP CITY” on the mic, and hearing the whole arena of fans erupt was truly unforgettable!
- What is your favorite song to dance to?
There’s something about ACDC that pumps me up! I’ve always loved dancing to rock songs.
- Who is your all-time favorite Blazer?
Mercy Mercy Jerome Kersey. I grew up watching him play, and then had the opportunity to work with him as a BlazerDancer on various occasions. He was not only an incredible player but a role model in our community.
- Other than dancing, what are your hobbies/talents?
I love being outside and active….that’s such a Portland thing to say, but it’s true! I love being out on the water wakeboarding or wakesurfing, I love hiking, stand up paddleboarding, and working out.
- What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I was really good a freestyle rapping.
- What is your favorite part about Portland?
I love that our city has so much character. There are so many different areas, small businesses, local restaurants, there’s always something new to explore.
- Where is your favorite place to eat in Portland?
- What is your favorite movie?
Wedding Crashers. I’ve seen it too many times and it always makes me laugh!
- Where is the most interesting place you’ve traveled, and why?
Mykonos, Greece. I loved the architecture and getting lost walking through the tiny streets.
- If you could time travel back to one decade, what period would you choose?
1960’s so I could see what my parents were like when they were kids.
- What is your biggest pet peeve?
“I have to tell you something!! Oh wait, nevermind I can’t tell you.”
- If you could befriend one celebrity, who would it be and why?
Jennifer Aniston for sure. Then I’d be invited to all the “Friends” reunion dinners and I could convince the cast to reenact episodes for me. You can’t tell me that’s not everyone’s dream!
- If your life had a motto, what would it be?
“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, and others make it happen.”
